Participants will spend these four weeks developing online payment processing for their businesses using Shopify.
Feb 13: What is E:Commerce? Learners will understand and investigate core components of receiving online payments.
Feb 20: Building a Shopify Store. Learners will explore Shopify and start their online store.
Feb 27: Customizing a Shopify Store. Learners will customer their store by adding products, creating collections, and building pages.
Mar 5: Customizing a Shopify Store Part 2. Learners will continue to customize their Shopify store.
This course is part of Canada Learning Code's Digital Skills for Entrepreneurship (DSE), and is designed to teach learners basic digital skills that will allow them to pursue their business idea or grow their existing business.
Participants must be 18+ to attend. This course is designed for people with businesses or business ideas in mind, but everyone is welcome to attend.
