The Big Welcome - Virtual Tourism Roundtable

The Salmon Arm Municipal and Regional District Tax (MRDT -- 2% hotel tax) program is excited to launch The Big Welcome, a new twist on the classic Tourism Ambassador Program. The Big Welcome is a COVID-19 response program designed to support Salmon Arm’s frontline staff in the tourism and hospitality sectors by providing current, high-value information regarding experiences, events and activities, including how these tourism assets can be accessed during the pandemic.
 
The first event in the series is a virtual roundtable check-in with some of our leading tourism service providers including: Shuswap Tourism, the Shuswap Trail Alliance, the Salmon Arm Folk Music Society, Downtown Salmon Arm and organizers of the Salty Dog Enduro and Shuswap Ultra, to name a few.

Join us February 23^rd from noon to 1:30pm to hear first-hand what these and other tourism organizations have planned for 2021. All attendees will receive a Big Welcome package containing a curated collection of Salmon Arm swag and tourism marketing materials. This session is free and is open to anyone working in the tourism or hospitality sectors.
