If you're new to computers, this course is for you!

Learn the basics of Windows through a hands-on exploration of its features and capabilities. Learn how to explore the Windows environment; use a typical window, menus, toolbars, buttons and dialog boxes. It will include working with the many applets available in Windows. You will become familiar with common computer language (Must bring your laptop to participate).

This workshop, led by Okanagan College instructor Judy Smith, will be offered for the discounted fee of $35 to seniors aged 55+ as part of our Federally funded seniors' workshop series running throughout 2021 at the Innovation Centre and Shuswap Makerspace in downtown Salmon Arm.

The fee is $105 for those under 55 years of age.

Tuesday, August 31 from 12:00pm - 3:00pm at the Innovation Centre: 220 Shuswap St. NE (upstairs in the Boardroom). 

Register soon as space is limited to 10 people!

NOTE: Bring your laptop computer (PC Only) and make sure it's fully charged. Apple users will not benefit from all the instruction designed for a PC.
