Welcome to our new sound studio in the Shuswap Makerspace!
Would you like to learn how to use the recording equipment? Perhaps make your own podcast, record a special story for a grandchild, or document your family history to give as a gift to a family member this Christmas. The possibilities are endless!
~Learn to record, edit and produce your own story, poem, documentary or podcast with instructor Tom Grady.
~This 6 hour workshop will introduce you to the studio equipment and give you experience with writing, recording and editing your own spoken word project for broadcast or podcast. Learn to use the Audacity software and how you can have ongoing access to the Makerspace studio.
~Participants may also have their completed project broadcast on Salmon Arm's CKVS 93.7FM radio station as part of the Wordsmiths of the Shuswap Program.
The fee is $210 for those under 55 years of age.
This course consists of 3 Wednesday evenings starting October 6 through October 20 from 6:30 - 8:30pm at the Shuswap Makerspace in the Innovation Centre (downstairs) 220 Shuswap St. NE (The big colourful building downtown).

***All current BC Public Health Officer guidelines and orders will be followed during the event, and a vaccine passport is required***
