Let's support our endangered bat population! Bats are an essential component of a healthy ecosystem and provide insect and pest control. Join us for this multi-generational project where you'll build a warm, dry and safe habitat for bats. Each team will build one 31" x 18" x 6" Pine Bat House. No previous woodworking experience is necessary.
Saturday, July 9 from 9:00am - 3:00pm at the Shuswap Makerspace in the Innovation Centre (downstairs) 220 Shuswap St. NE (The big colourful building downtown).
The cost is $170 plus GST for pairs where the adult is under 55 years of age.
***Register soon as space is limited to 6 people (3 adults and 3 youth)***
NOTE: Please wear closed-toed shoes. Long hair must be tied up. Bring a lunch (1 hour break) and water bottle.
