This course will focus on basic soldering skills and theory. Topics will include: solder types, component thermal and material variations, use of flux, desoldering, static damage minimizing and proper solder flowing techniques. We will also discuss safety around high temperatures, flux smoke and how to handle products containing lead.
The fee is $75 plus GST for ages 12 and up.

You will make a flashlight circuit board as the class project.
