Youth Art 

& Robotics After school classes!

~ ages 9 & Up 

~ These fun and exciting 

after school classes are ideal for beginners, experts, or past students who want to experiment and get creative!

~ Using STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) to create and learn, students will explore and experiment using the design process through planning, testing, and doing. They will use LEGO® Mindstorm™ kits to combine robotics, art, and our local environment to create their own designs.

 ~ Working in pairs using LEGO blocks, gears, motors and sensors, students will learn the basics of programming robots, robot components, programming and teamwork skills while sharing a robotics kit and computer. 

~ Computers are provided and class instruction will be in the Boardroom at the Innovation Centre. No previous experience is  required.

~Youth art & robotics classes are on four Monday's: October 17, 24 & 31 and November 7 from 4:00pm - 5:30pm at the Innovation Centre: 220 Shuswap St. NE 

 ~ The cost is $160 plus GST, which includes computer and robot use

and art supplies.

~ Register soon as space is limited to 12people. Bring a friend! *Minimum 6 students for the course to run*
