Youth Woodcrafters
Ages 10 - 16 ~
Build a tool/storage box!
- Get hands-on experience safely operating some of the wood shop machines and power tools to build a beautiful tool/storage box.
- Youth woodcrafters must be accompanied by an adult 19 +
This workshop is led by retired cabinet maker and wood science teacher, Steve Henshall.
The fee is $130 plus GST for ages 10 - 16. 
Saturday, December 10 from 11:00am - 2:00pm at the Shuswap Makerspace in the Innovation Centre (downstairs) 220 Shuswap St. NE (The big colourful building downtown).
***Register soon as space is limited to 3 youth with their guardians!*** Minimum 2 registrants to run the course. Register you and your guest.

You will make a red cedar and plywood tool/storage box with dimensions approximately 18" x 16" x 6".
NOTE: We ask that you wear closed-toed shoes. Long hair must be tied up. Please bring a lunch and a water bottle.
