Wood Turning 201 Class ~ Turn a beautiful segmented bowl or open bowl ~ Wood Turning 101 or prior wood lathe experience is required.
~ The lathe is a classic wood shop tool; however, it takes a little more learning and practice to master than some other woodworking tools. This class in NOT a certification course, but you will learn how to safely operate the lathe, in turn, helping you create a beautiful segmented bowl. The bowl blank is included in the cost and makes a beautiful gift!
Instructor: Dave Peel. Dave is a retired shop teacher with over 50 years of teaching and woodworking experience with a love for teaching and passing his knowledge on.
Monday, January 23 from 10am - 12pm at the Shuswap Makerspace in the Innovation Centre (downstairs) 220 Shuswap St. NE. The Cost is $100.
