Here's your chance to learn more about this exciting piece of machinery at the Shuswap Makerspace! Come and get certified to use our 100-Watt HL 1060 Laser Cutting / Engraving machine, and learn all the capabilities of this amazing tool. What are you going to create?!
In these classes, you will learn the basics of the machine, safe operation, and designing for the laser. Knowledge with Windows is required, and there is software that can be downloaded on your personal computer to prepare your files for the laser. Create your own projects and use the space on a drop-in, monthly, or annual membership basis!
The fee is $225 for ages 16 & Up.
Sunday, April 23 from 9:00am - 4:00pm and Tuesday, April 25 from 6:00 - 8:30pm at the Shuswap Makerspace in the Innovation Centre (basement) 220 Shuswap St. NE.
Register soon as space is limited to 4 people. *Minimum 2 people to run the course. You will also need a laptop or usb stick. LightBurn software will run on Windows 7.0 or later, 32 or 64 bit, MacOS 10.11 or later, or 64 bit Linux.
