Wood Turning 102 ~ TURN A BEAUTIFUL FRENCH ROLLING PIN ~ No experience necessary!
~ The lathe is a classic wood shop tool; however, it takes a little more learning and practice to master than some other woodworking tools. This class is NOT a certification course, but you will learn how to safely operate the lathe, in turn, helping you create a beautiful French pastry rolling pin. The rolling pin blank is included in the cost and makes a beautiful gift!
Instructor: Dave Peel. Dave is a retired shop teacher and wood specialist with over 50 years of teaching and woodworking experience. He has a love for teaching and passing his knowledge on.
Wednesday, March 29 from 1 - 3pm at the Shuswap Makerspace in the Innovation Centre (basement) 220 Shuswap St. NE. The cost is $90.
