Woodshop 101              Certification ~ Make a Cedar Charcuterie Board!

• Familiarize yourself with the Wood Shop and its resources
• Introduce yourself to the machines and power tools that you are most likely to use
• Get hands-on experience using the machines and power tools safely
• Shown the location of the E STOP, first aid kit, eye wash station, fire extinguisher and emergency exits
• This course is required to use the Industrial Room equipment and to do future woodworking workshops

The fee is $150 for ages 16 & up.                                

Sunday, May 28 from 9:00am - 3:00pm at the Shuswap Makerspace in the Innovation Centre (basement) 220 Shuswap St. NE.

***Register soon as space is limited to 3 people!*** Minimum 2 people to run the course.

You will make a straight-edge cedar charcuterie board.         ***Bring 2 of your own drawer pull handles for your board***

NOTE: We ask that you wear closed-toed shoes. Long hair must be tied up. Please bring a lunch and a water bottle.
