JEWELRY MAKING 102- NECKLACES
Build on the foundational skills and techniques you learned in the Class 1 Introduction to Jewelry Making class. Class 3 is designed to help you become familiar with techniques to successfully make beaded bracelets in two styles. We will also make a leather or cork style. Working with your basic tools and professional finishing techniques you will create styles for yourself or as gifts.
We provide all the supplies needed for this class (bring your tools from Class 1) or purchase from us. Bring your own snack and pen/paper for notes, camera if you wish to take photos to accompany your how-to instructions, Along with any bead supplies you may already have.
Experiment creating several necklace designs with these new found skills. We'll teach you how to make quality jewelry that lasts and practice each step to help you learn at your own pace. Experiment with different materials and colors to find your own style. Finished jewelry will be on hand to inspire and learn from.
You will take home your finished jewelry, notes of jewelry making tips and how to's, a list of where to find the recommended supplies, along with the confidence to continue in your new hobby. Adapt your learning to repair your own costume pieces.
Your instructor is trained in fine arts and has created her own successful jewelry line for adults and children, Nice and Pretty Jewelry. Caroline looks forward to sharing her knowledge with you and answer your questions about jewelry design.
