~ Perhaps make your own podcast, record music, make a special story for a grandchild, or document your family history to give as a gift to a family member this Christmas. The possibilities are endless!
~ Learn to record, edit and produce your own story, poem, documentary or podcast with instructor Richard Sevigny.
~ This 6 hour workshop will introduce you to the studio equipment and give you experience with writing, recording and editing your own spoken word project for broadcast or podcast.
~ Learn to use the free Audacity software and how you can have ongoing access to the Makerspace studio ($10 an hour).
Required participant tools:
1. Computer
2. Headphones & microphone
3. USB Stick
4. Audacity software (free download: http://audacity.soundforge.net)
The fee is $300.00
This course consists of 3 Tuesday evenings; November 21, November 28th and December 4th from 2:00 - 4:00pm at the Shuswap Makerspace in the Innovation Centre: 220 Shuswap St. NE (basement).
