Here's your chance to learn more about this exciting piece of machinery at the Shuswap Makerspace! Come and get certified to use our 100-Watt HL 1060 Laser Cutting / Engraving machine, and learn all the capabilities of this amazing tool.
In these classes, you will learn the basics of the machine, safe operation, and designing for the laser. Knowledge with Windows is required, and there is software that can be downloaded on your personal computer to prepare your files for the laser. Create your own projects and use the space on a drop-in, monthly, or annual membership basis!
The fee is $225 plus GST for ages 16 & up.
3 Sessions/ 3 Mondays in a row: Monday, November 20th Noon - 2:00pm, Monday, November 27th Noon - 2pm, December 4th Noon - 2:00pm at the Shuswap Makerspace in the Innovation Centre (downstairs) 220 Shuswap St. NE (the big colorful building downtown).
