Woodshop 101 Certification ~ Pen Making Class

In this course you will learn how to make a pen!

•  Prepare a wooden blank which will become become the pen barrel.
•  Turn the pen barrel blank on the lathe to the desired shape.
•  Finish the wooden pen barrel making it smooth and wear resistant.
•  Assemble the finished pen.
•  Find resources and supplies for more pen projects

Each participant will leave the class with a finished Maple Leaf style pen.

This is not a lathe certification course. You will learn how to safely operate the lathe as an introduction to this fun hobby. All materials are included in the cost.

NOTE: We ask that you wear closed-toed shoes. Long hair must be tied up.
