WELCOME TO OUR NEW SOUND STUDIO IN THE SHUSWAP MAKERSPACE!

Step into a creative space, where every note and beat is captured with precision. The cutting-edge equipment and acoustically treated rooms provide an optimal environment for musicians, and podcasters. 

~Learn to record, edit and produce your own story, poem, documentary or podcast with instructor Richard Sevigny. 

~ This 6 hour workshop will introduce you to the studio equipment and give you experience with writing, recording and editing your own spoken word project for broadcast or podcast.

~ Learn to use the free Audacity software, and how you can have ongoing access to the Makerspace studio 

Required participant tools:

1. Computer (Required for Homework)

2. Headphones & microphone

3. USB Stick

4. Audacity software

~The fee is $300.00

~This course consists of 3 Tuesday evening classes; February 27th, March 5th, and March 12th from 4:00 - 6:00pm at the Shuswap Makerspace in the Innovation Centre: 220 Shuswap St. NE (basement).
