Build your very own FOLDING CEDAR ADIRONDAK chair at the Shuswap Makerspace, and get certified for using the Woodshop! 

This 2 day, fully instructed course will have you building a beautiful, folding cedar Adirondack chair. Not only will it be lightweight and last a long time, but you'll be able to fold it for easy storage!

Led by instructor Ed Campbell, this course also includes your Woodshop 101 certification. You will learn how to use most of the tools in the woodshop, with an emphasis on safety and proper use of equipment. Once complete you will be certified to utilize our woodshop on a membership or drop in basis for your personal projects! (All personal projects will require you to bring your own wood. However all supplies are included for this Course.)


The cost is $280 for ages 16 & up.  Register a guest for $40 off! 



Sunday April 7th from 9am - 4pm  &  Monday, April 8th from 10am - 1pm at the Shuswap Makerspace in the Innovation Centre (downstairs) 220 Shuswap St. NE. 


**Register soon as space is limited to 2 people! Minimum 2 people to run the course.**

NOTE: Please wear closed-toed shoes with long hair pulled back. And bring a water bottle and lunch as we break for an hour lunch break for the first session.
